The invention relates to a wheel suspension (1) for a motor vehicle for supporting a wheel of the vehicle on the structure of the vehicle, comprising a wheel carrier (2) for coupling to the wheel, a lower trapezoidal-link (3) which comprises, inside, a rear guide bearing (14) for coupling to the structure and a front guide bearing (15) for coupling to the structure, and is coupled, outside, to the wheel carrier (2) by means of a lower support link (16), an upper roll-over strut (4) which comprises, inside, an upper guide bearing (17) for coupling to the body and which is coupled, outside, to the wheel support (2) by means of an upper support link (18), and a coupling link (5) which is coupled via a lower coupling bearing (19) to the trapezoidal-link (3) and via an upper coupling bearing (20) to the wheel support (2). A structure, which ensures the wheel suspension (1) is rigid with respect to transversal forces and flexible with respect to longitudinal forces when the lower support link (16), the upper coupling link (20) and the upper support link (18) define a steering type axle (21) for steering movements between the wheels and the structure, is obtained.
