The invention relates to electric cars, in particular to an electric-car front axle provided with steel spring plate mounting plates. The electric-car front axle comprises a main beam of a tubular structure, the steel spring plate mounting plates are arranged at two ends of the main beam, mounting seats are arranged at two ends of the main beam, each mounting seat comprises a top wall, a vertical wall and a bottom wall, the upper end of the vertical wall is connected to the top wall and close to the main beam end, the lower end of the vertical wall is connected to the bottom wall and close to the main beam end, the top wall, the vertical wall and the bottom wall are connected together in a U-shaped manner, and strengthening structures are arranged between the steel spring plate mounting plates and the main beam. By the arrangement, a steel spring plate is convenient to mount, the joint of a claw shaft is less prone to deformation, the main beam is light in weight and good in collision resistance capacity, and problems the steel spring plate of an existing front axle is inconvenient to mount, the joint of the claw shaft and the main beam is prone to deformation, the main beam is heavy and poor in collision resistance capacity are solved.
