The invention discloses an android-based automobile safety startup control method. The method includes the steps: an Android cellphone is in wireless communication connection with a controller of an automobile; a driver enters a user password through a user interface of the Android cellphone, if an authentication module of the controller judges that the user password is correct, identity of the driver is legal; a presser sensor on a driver's seat judges whether or not the driver is in the driver's seat; if yes, the controller detects whether or not the driver drives while intoxicated or drives under the influence; if the driver drives while intoxicated, an alarm module is controlled to send out an alarm signal; if the driver drives under the influence, an oil circuit switch is controlled to shut off the automobile so that the automobile is unable to be started, a reminder for driving under the influence is sent to the Android cellphone, and the Android cellphone receives and analyzes the reminder and sends a short message to a preset contact for seeking help. The method allows theft and drunk driving to be effectively prevented, allows higher automobile safety and has promising application prospect.
