The invention relates to a heat treatment method for a high-strength vehicle bumper. The heat treatment method comprises the steps of quenching, annealing, subzero treatment, secondary quenching, secondary annealing, grinding and precise trimming, wherein heating is conducted in a staged mode. Through the heat treatment method and the setting of specific parameters, under the condition that it is guaranteed that the cost is relatively low and the tenacity is high, the strength of the vehicle bumper is greatly improved.
