The invention relates to an intelligent traffic light control method and an intelligent traffic light control system, and belongs to the technical field of communication. The system comprises information acquisition modules, a traffic light controller and communication modules, the information acquisition modules are used for acquiring vehicle information, the traffic light controller is used for receiving and processing the vehicle information, and the communication modules positioned in vehicles are used for sending information to the information acquisition modules and are connected with the information acquisition modules wirelessly. The traffic light controller adjusts the state of a traffic light according to the vehicle information sent by the information acquisition modules. Compared with traffic control systems in the prior art, the intelligent traffic light control system has the advantages that utilization conditions of each lane in each phase position are fully considered, and accordingly, road utilization rate is increased. By the intelligent traffic light control method and the intelligent traffic light control system, alarms can be given out for lane snatching behaviors through detection of the vehicles in each lane, so that accidents are prevented, and the problem of insufficient consideration in queuing of each lane of each non-passing phase position in intelligent traffic light inductive control in the prior art is solved.
