The invention provides a vehicle active safety protection method, which comprises the steps of measuring the distance to a front vehicle by a long-distance radar arranged on a front bumper of the vehicle, and outputting a long-distance signal; measuring the distance to an obstacle in front of the vehicle by a short-distance radar arranged on the front bumper of the vehicle, and outputting a short-distance signal; connecting a first pressure sensor to a brake pedal and converting the foot strength of a driver to a brake electrical signal through the first pressure sensor; connecting a second pressure sensor to an accelerator pedal, and converting the foot strength of the driver to an acceleration electrical signal through the second pressure sensor; converting the long-distance signal, the short-distance signal, the brake electrical signal and the acceleration electrical signal into digital forms from simulating forms through an A/D converter; comparing the distance signals with the electrical signals through a comparator built in a single chip microcomputer, and outputting compensation signals; control the rotation speed of an engine through a brake control system and an acceleration control system according to the compensation signals.
