The invention discloses a baby carriage rear wheel braking mechanism which is quite reliable and safe and is used for achieving one-foot double-braking or one-foot disengaging on rear wheels of a baby carriage. The baby carriage rear wheel braking mechanism structurally comprises a rear wheel axle, brake gears, brake bases, brake parts and the like. The brake bases and the brake parts are provided with kidney-shaped oblique slots respectively. A brake pin capable of sliding along the corresponding kidney-shaped oblique slots is arranged in two corresponding kidney-shaped oblique slots, wherein one end of the brake pin extends out to the corresponding brake gear and can be pulled up and down by the corresponding brake part to disengage from or enter a corresponding tooth space of the corresponding brake gear; since the brake pins are light, accurate positioning of one-foot double-braking or one-foot disengaging can be achieved conveniently along with up-down pulling of the brake parts, and the baby carriage rear wheel braking mechanism is safer in use; meanwhile, the baby carriage rear wheel braking mechanism has the advantages of being simple in structural design, low in manufacturing cost, good in function and the like.
