The engineering radial tire seam allowance rubber composition comprises, by weight, 20-25 parts of natural rubber, 75-80 parts of cis-butadiene rubber, 75-85 parts of carbon black, 4-6 parts of zinc oxide, 1.5-3.0 parts of stearic acid, 3-5 parts of tackifying resin, 5-10 parts of RAE oil, 1-2.5 parts of anti-aging agent 4020, 0.5-1.5 parts of anti-aging agent RD, 0.5-1.0 part of anti-aging agent DTPD, 1.5-2.5 parts of protective wax, 1.0-2.0 parts of sulfur, 1.5-2.0 parts of accelerator and 0.2 part of scorch retarder CTP. By the rubber composition, the aging resistance, wear resistance and reversion resistance of the engineering radial tire seam allowance protective vulcanized rubber are increased evidently, the mechanical properties such as tensile strength, definite elongation stress and hardness under vulcanization and actual use conditions of seam allowance protective rubber are guaranteed, the dynamic mechanical property of the rubber is increased at the same time, the compression deformation and heat generating performance of the seam allowance protective rubber are effectively lowered, and tire service life is prolonged.
