The invention discloses a container crane magneto-rheological intelligent damping device which comprises an integrated controller (1), an electric signal control connector (2), a sensor (3) and two magneto-rheological dampers (5) of composite structures and a supporting rod (12). Each damper (5) is provided with two damping cylinders which are filled with elastic cement gum (9) and magneto-rheological fluid (12), wherein the magneto-rheological fluid (12) enters the other side of a piston through a bypass damping hole (13), and a decoupling device (22) is arranged inside the damper. The integrated controller (1) is connected with damper wires through the electric signal control connector (2). Needed current is provided for the two magneto-rheological dampers (5) of the composite structures according to the measurement values of the sensor (3), and therefore the seismic response of the structure is controlled. The container crane magneto-rheological intelligent damping device can give corresponding control strategies without excessive signal processing, and is convenient to use and obvious in damping effect.
