The invention discloses an intersection two-phase signal control and canalization method comprising the following steps: arranging a straight-on traffic passing lane and a right-turn traffic passing lane on each road of the intersection in an entrance lane direction; arranging a turn-round lane before an immutable section of each road of the intersection in the entrance lane direction, arranging a central isolation belt or a widened straight-on lane on each road of the intersection in an exit direction, wherein the widened straight-on lane only allows left-turn traffic in a left side entrance lane direction to line up and wait. When vehicle enters the intersection, the left-turn vehicle takes a right turn with right-turn traffic on a right-turn lane, and the left-turn vehicle enters the straight-on lane, only allowing the left-turn traffic to line up and wait, through the turn-round lane, thus realizing left-turn of the vehicle. The method only needs two phase to effectively solve the bad influences of the intersection left-turn traffic against an intersection signal timing plan, thus providing very effectively improving effects for enhancing intersection passing efficiency, and improving time and space resource utilization.
