The invention discloses a method used for carrying out real-time coordination control on regional traffic signals. The method comprises the steps that a sensor acquires data of a controlled object; the data are fused into a non-redundant dataset through a convergence point; the non-redundant dataset with timestamp and geographical position is transmitted to a network; a state observer in a remote control end receives the non-redundant dataset from the convergence point; the prediction value of the state of the controlled object is given according to the non-redundant dataset; and a control signal is generated by a controller in the remote control end and is sent to an actuator for execution through a network. According to the invention, coordination control can be effectively carried out on the regional traffic signals in real time, which reduces traffic congestion and energy consumption in a region.
