The invention discloses a garage parking assistance system, which comprises a vehicle detection unit, a broadcast unit and a control unit, wherein the vehicle detection unit is used for detecting whether a vehicle exceeds the parking space boundary or not and transmitting a detection result to the control unit, the control unit receives the detection result from the vehicle detection unit, processes the detection result and sends the broadcast content containing information about whether the vehicle exceeds the parking space boundary or not to the broadcast unit, and the broadcast unit receives the broadcast content from the control unit and broadcast the broadcast content. The garage parking assistance system can replace the management personnel of an existing parking lot to guide drivers to park a vehicle in a designated area of a parking space, thereby avoiding a circumstance that one vehicle occupies a plurality of parking spaces, reducing the management cost of the parking lot, and improving the utilization rate of the parking spaces of the parking lot.
