The invention discloses a system of preventing red light running by mistake. The system comprises a traffic light controller which makes traffic lights display red, yellow and green states, a control circuit, a signal emission terminal and a signal receiving terminal. The traffic light controller, the control circuit and the signal emission terminal are successively connected. The signal receiving terminal is connected to the signal emission terminal through a wireless and/or wired state and can synchronously display a traffic light state in real time. By using the system of the invention, a front road condition can be seen over a barrier; a situation that the barrier in the front blocks sight, and people can not see the traffic lights and breaks traffic regulations is avoided; simultaneously, an automobile, which is not equipped with a synchronous interior traffic display system condition, is considered; traffic safety of a driver at a traffic light road is effectively guaranteed.
