The invention provides a single-point self-optimization signal control method based on array radars, and mainly relates to the intersection traffic signal optimization control field. Through integration application of a novel array radar vehicle detection device, dynamic detection and signal optimization processing of a traffic state of a single intersection are achieved. The method comprises steps of installation of an array radar device, data collection and communication, single-point self-optimization signal processing and calculation and signal instruction issuing and control. The invention also provides a single-point self-optimization signal control device based on array radars. The two-dimensional active array radar technology is employed, a real-time traffic state of a single intersection can be detected accurately, an optimized signal control scheme is established, real-time decision and emergency processing information is provided for traffic management and control and operating efficiency and service level of intersection road traffic are raised.
