The invention belongs to the technical field of buggy appliances, and particularly relates to a front wheel engaging and disengaging gear for a speed-control push-riding buggy. The front wheel engaging and disengaging gear for the speed-control push-riding buggy comprises a front wheel. A left hollow cavity and a right hollow cavity are axially formed in a center shaft of the front wheel. A left inner sleeve is arranged in the left hollow cavity. A protrusion on a front wheel shaft is separated from a clamping groove in a right inner sleeve, so that pedals do not rotate along with the rotation of the front wheel.
