The invention relates to the technical field of manufacturing of steel structure bridges and discloses a super-thick plate splicing method. The method comprises the following steps that a first super-thick plate to be spliced and a second super-thick plate to be spliced are calibrated; the splicing seam part of the first super-thick plate and the second super-thick plate is measured, and a first measurement value is obtained; the first super-thick plate is arranged on a scaffold and positioned; the second super-thick plate is transferred onto the scaffold through the lifting appliance, and the first super-thick plate and the second super-thick plate are spliced; first-time welding is carried out on the first super-thick plate and the second super-thick plate, and a second measurement value is obtained; the second measurement value and a deformation monitoring value are compared, and welding work is carried out according to a comparison result. The super-thick plate splicing method can solve the problems that in the super-thick plate assembling process in the prior art, super-thick plates are damaged by an adopted lifting appliance and a supporting seat, the calibration work difficulty is large after welding, and the process is complex.
