The invention discloses a dual-purpose fork clamp for a forklift. An upper guide rail base and a lower guide rail base are connected to a left bottom plate assembly and a right bottom plate assembly through bolts. Oil cylinders are connected to the left bottom plate assembly and the right bottom plate assembly through nuts and the like. A control valve is connected to the upper guide rail base through a bolt. A protection cover is arranged at the upper end of the control valve and is connected with the upper guide rail base. A sliding block set is arranged in the upper guide rail base and the lower guide rail base. A left clamp assembly and a right clamp assembly are driven by the oil cylinders and slide in the upper guide rail base and the lower guide rail base which are internally provided with the sliding block set. Pallet forks are connected to the left clamp assembly and the right clamp assembly through locating pins, bearing blank caps, screws and the like. The pallet forks are provided with a plurality of locating pin mounting holes and a locating stepped hole and can rotate around mounting shafts, and 90-degree rotation is achieved through control over the locating pins. The fork clamp achieves the dual-purpose functions of clamping and picking goods, the phenomenon that fork clamps or holding clamps need to be replaced when different materials are carried and consequently manpower and time waste is caused is avoided, and thus carrying efficiency is improved.
