The invention provides a new energy vehicle based on the internet of things. The new energy vehicle comprises a vehicle body. A controller is arranged in the vehicle body and is connected with a GPS positioning module, an acceleration sensor and a communication module. The controller is used for sending data of the GPS positioning module to a server through the communication module when the collected value of the acceleration sensor is larger than a preset value, and turning on a double-flashing indicator lamp. Automatic alarming of the new energy vehicle can be achieved, and safety can be increased.
