The invention provides a hanging mechanism used between a ship and a highline cable. The hanging mechanism comprises an emergency disengaging mechanism, a connecting side plate and a base, the emergency disengaging mechanism comprises a highline cable hook, a stationary clamp, a movable clamp, multiple pin shafts and a safety block pin. The connecting side plate is in a strip shape and provided with multiple through holes; the highline cable hook is in a bent hook shape, a first end of the highline cable hook is fixed to the side portion of the connecting side plate through a first pin shaft and a first through hole in the connecting side plate, and a second end of the highline cable hook can rotate around the first pin shaft; the movable clamp is provided with a clamp opening, and the clamping opening is used for clamping the free end of the highline cable hook. The stationary clamp is rotatably installed on the connecting side plate, located on the side portion of the movable clamp and used for abutting against a recess which is located at the outer side of the movable clamp, and the movable clamp is prevented from breaking away from the highline cable hook. According to the hanging mechanism, the highline card hook is locked through the movable clamp and the stationary clamp, and when the emergency disengagement is needed, it only needs to open the stationary clamp, and the movable clamp can be pushed open through the intrinsic pulling force of the highline cable, so that the emergency disengagement is achieved.
