The invention discloses a crossroad red light running snapshot system based on a ZigBee, and belongs to the technical field of intelligent traffic vehicle snapshot systems. The system comprises a traffic monitoring terminal, a coordinator, a router and ZigBee wireless network nodes. Each ZigBee wireless network node is arranged on each crossroad of a city, and comprises a ZigBee module, a signal lamp state input unit, a vehicle detection unit, a control unit and an image acquisition unit. The image acquisition unit comprises a brightness detection module, an image snapshot module, a first fill-in light module, a second fill-in light module, a third fill-in light module, an image storage module and an image de-noising module. According to the invention, through utilization of a ZigBee wireless communication network, red light running conditions of each crossroad of the city can be monitored in day and night, and inefficiencies of unclear shoot images are avoided.
