This lifting tool (1) for a rotary shaft (54) has a pedestal (8) that is supported by the inner circumferential surface (2a) of the bearing stand (2), and a jack part (9) that is provided between the pedestal (8) and the outer circumferential surface of the rotary shaft (54), and that expands/contracts in the radial direction. The size of the pedestal (8) in the radial direction is smaller than the gap between the rotary shaft (54) and the bearing stand (2) in the radial direction, and a rotor bearing (10) having a cylindrical surface corresponding to the outer circumferential surface of the rotary shaft (54) is provided between the jack part (9) and the rotary shaft (54). Multiple support members (11) oriented in a direction other than the direction of the jack part (9) are provided on the rotor bearing (10).
