The present invention provides a technology of effectively using supplied power by adjusting a planned charging time of an electric vehicle (EV). According to an embodiment of the present invention, a charging time adjusting apparatus has an acquiring unit and a control unit. The acquiring unit acquires a planned power supply quantity of an electric system that includes a charger to be connected to an electric vehicle at the time of charging the electric vehicle. The control unit sets a charging time so as to charge the electric vehicle by means of the charger during a period of time when the planned power supply quantity acquired by means of the acquiring unit exceeds a threshold value.
