The invention discloses a railway vehicle and a vehicle connection device thereof. The vehicle connection device comprises a convex joint and a concave joint. A bulb is arranged at the convex joint. The spherical surface of the bulb protrudes downwards. A bulb base is arranged at the concave joint. A ball socket matched with the bulb is machined on the bulb base. The ball socket is opened upwards. The vehicle connection device further comprises a limiting part used for limiting the bulb in the ball socket. The tensile load, the compression load and the vertical load of the vehicle connection device are all transmitted through spherical matched surfaces between the bulb and the ball socket, and in other words, the force transmitting surfaces are formed by the spherical matched faces. The area of the spherical matched faces is large, and accordingly the force bearing area is large, and uniform load transmitting is facilitated. Even when the vehicle connection device is in the state that the corner is large, it can be ensured that the bearing faces have the large contact area due to the spherical surface contact, it is avoided that the bearing piece cracking phenomenon happens when the local load is too large, the running safety of the vehicle is ensured, and the service life of a bearing piece is prolonged.
