The invention discloses an elevator balance device. The elevator balance device comprises a plurality of balance belts sequentially arranged in the length direction at intervals. A heavy block is arranged between every two adjacent balance belts. All the balance belts and the heavy blocks are sequentially connected in series. The specific value of the width of the balance belts to the thickness of the balance belts is larger than one. The manner that the multiple balance belts and the heavy blocks are sequentially connected together in series is adopted in an elevator balance compensation chain, a plurality of compensation chains arranged in parallel in the prior art are replaced, and collisions and friction of the adjacent compensation chains in the width direction are avoided. Meanwhile, the main weight is concentrated on the heavy blocks between the adjacent balance belts, and therefore after the balance device is hung on a counter weight and an elevator car, the part, below the counter weight, of the balance device and the part, on the side of the elevator car, of the balance device can hang down as much as possible, left-and-right shaking is reduced, and the taking comfort level during elevator running is improved.
