The invention relates to an installation mechanism for a bus exhaust system. The installation mechanism comprises a heat-insulation frame as well as an exhaust system hanger and an exhaust system bracket which are arranged in the heat-insulation frame in an embedding manner, wherein the upper end and the lower end of the heat-insulation frame are installed on a bus body underframe through suspension cushions and bolts respectively; the top of the exhaust system hanger is installed at the inner side of the top of the heat-insulation frame through suspension cushions and bolts; and the bottom of the exhaust system bracket is installed at the inner side of the bottom of the heat-insulation frame through suspension cushions and bolts. The installation mechanism disclosed by the invention is applicable to bus exhaust systems which are designed with regard to Euro 6, Beijing 5 emission standards and the like, capable of rapidly and accurately assembling each of the bus exhaust systems on a bus body, and capable of isolating the heat source and noise generated by each of the bus exhaust systems to improve the comfort of the whole bus.
