The invention discloses a vest for traffic policemen. The vest for traffic policemen comprises a vest main body and two bracelets in cooperated use with the vest main body. The vest main body and the two bracelets are in data connection through a wireless communication module; the two bracelets are worn on the left and right wrists of a traffic policeman respectively; each bracelet is internally provided with a geomagnetic sensor, an acceleration sensor and a pressure sensor; the front surface of the vest main body is provided with an OLED flexible display screen; the OLED flexible display screen is connected with a vest control circuit; and after receiving sensor data transmitted by the bracelets through bluetooth, the vest control circuit carries out traffic policeman gesture recognition according to the sensor data, converts the traffic policeman gestures, which are recognized successfully, into traffic indication symbols or characters, and displays the traffic indication symbols or characters on the OLED flexible display screen. According to the vest for traffic policemen, drivers are allowed to see the gestures of the traffic policemen clearly and visually at a distance under the condition of poor illumination condition, and daily work of the traffic policemen is not influenced; and it is convenient to wear and use the vest.
