The invention relates to a vehicle border crossing management method and system. The vehicle border crossing management method comprises the steps that an early warning monitoring area and an alarm monitoring area are formed by RFID read-write equipment which is arranged at road acquisition points in a spacing way, and the RFID read-write equipment is correlated with a background server and then acquires the vehicle driving state on the road; a driver RFID electronic tag in which driver identity information is stored at least and a vehicle-used RFID electronic tag in which a driving limit area corresponding to a vehicle and vehicle identification information are stored at least are read by the RFID read-write equipment, and information data are transmitted to the background server; when the background server judges that the vehicle is approaching or the vehicle is at the border of the driving limit area, early warning information is transmitted to a driver and/or a vehicle owner via a communication network; and when the vehicle crosses the border of the driving limit area through judgment, alarm information is transmitted to the driver and/or the vehicle owner and relevant supervisors. According to the method and the system thereof, the probability of border crossing of the vehicle can be reduced without influencing normal traffic, and management efficiency can be enhanced.
