The invention discloses a mistakenly-driving vehicle error correction guiding method and a mistakenly-driving vehicle error correction guiding system for a passenger and cargo separating expressway. The mistakenly-driving vehicle error correction guiding method comprises the steps of: judging whether a mistakenly-driving vehicle exists on the expressway, if so, guiding the mistakenly-driving vehicle in an outgoing lane to enter a correct lane through a fault-tolerant lane, and reminding driving vehicles that a vehicle is incoming ahead through a first stage guide in the incoming lane; and detecting whether an error correction vehicle exists on the fault-tolerant lane, if so, reminding the driving vehicles that a vehicle is incoming ahead through a second stage guide in the incoming lane. Through the two-stage real-time linkage guiding control method, the influence of the mistakenly-driving vehicle on the passenger and cargo separating type multi-lane expresswayis reduced, the traffic capacity of the expressway is increased, and the road traffic safety is enhanced.
