The invention discloses an OBU-based highway traffic jam prompting method and system. Facilities of an existing ETC electronic toll collection system are utilized. Extra hardware and specific APP support are not needed; identity information and RSSI values of all vehicles of an OBU within a communication range are collected at preset time intervals through an RSU, the congestion condition is judged according to the number of the vehicles in the same time and the RSSI value variation of each OBU, and congestion information is shared. The problems of unbalanced road network utilization, insufficient data value mining, lack of a collaborative management platform, insufficient accident prevention and disposal efficiency and the like due to the fact that hardware such as a camera and specific APP support need to be installed in the prior art are avoided, a driver can know the real-time situation of a front road section at the first time, and the social efficiency is improved.
本发明公开了基于OBU的高速公路交通拥堵提示方法和系统。利用现有ETC电子不停车收费系统的设施,在不需要额外硬件及特定APP支持的情况下,通过路侧单元RSU预设时间间隔采集通信范围内车载单元OBU的所有车辆身份信息及RSSI值,根据前后两次同一车辆个数及每个车载单元OBU的RSSI值变化量,判断拥堵情况,并共享拥堵信息。避免了现有技术中需要安装摄像头等硬件以及特定APP支持,导致的路网利用不均衡、数据价值挖掘不够、协同管理平台缺乏、事故预防和处置效率不足等问题,使驾驶员在第一时间就能够得知前方路段实时情况,提高了社会效率。
