The invention provides a light high-strength carriage side plate which comprises an inner panel, outer panels and a sandwich material. The outer panels are of a strip-shaped structure, the multiple outer panels are fixed to one side of the inner panel, and the multiple outer panels are arranged in parallel. The sides, facing the inner panel, of the outer panels are bent to form grooves, and the grooves are filled with the sandwich material. The light high-strength carriage side plate is formed by compositing a plate produced through a composite material vacuum auxiliary process and a light sandwich, and the composite plate has the bending resistance of a corrugated plate and also has the compression resistance, impact resistance and the like of a common sandwich plate. In the design, the preformed inner panel and the light sandwich are used as a mold of the outer panels, the formed outer panels can be perfectly attached to the core material, and a large amount of mold cost is saved. Compared with a honeycomb structure, the light sandwich such as cork wood or rigid foam is convenient to cut and process, can meet the requirements of various corrugated shapes, and has the density similar to that of a honeycomb core.
