The two-wheeled robot comprises: a machine body assembly; two driving wheel assemblies which are symmetrically installed on the left side and the right sideof the machine body assembly; a rear tail rod assembly, wherein the rear tail rod assembly is installed on the rear side face of the machine body assembly and comprises a rear tail rod, and the reartail rod has a folded state in which the rear tail rod is folded inwards on the inner sides of driving wheels and an unfolded state in which the rear tail rod extends backwards from the rear side faceof the machine body assembly; and a driving wheel which can fix the rear tail rod to a folded state. According to the scheme, when the robot is thrown to a fire scene and the like, most of impact force on the ground can be resisted through the driving wheels, internal structural parts of the robot are effectively protected, the rear tail rod assembly can be automatically opened after the robot isthrown to the site so as to ensure the balance of the two-wheeled robot, and when the robot needs to be thrown or transported or transported, the rear tail rod assembly can be folded to be stored andprotected on the inner sides of the driving wheels, collision between the rear tail rod assembly and the ground and the like is avoided, and then the safety of the rear tail rod assembly can be ensured.
