The invention discloses a method for reducing the voltage difference of an equalization circuit and improving the equalization efficiency. The method comprises the steps: S1, connecting a battery system in series, and connecting forty single batteries in series to form a battery system; S2, arranging isolation transformers, connecting the single batteries with the isolation transformers in parallel; S3, setting an auxiliary battery, arranging the auxiliary battery in the system; S4, setting a battery system BMS, connecting the battery module electrically with the battery system BMS; S5, in thecharging and discharging processes, providing power for single low-voltage batteries; S6, in the charging and discharging processes, discharging the single high-voltage batteries; S7, in the chargingand discharging processes, independently carrying out charging and discharging when the voltages of the multiple groups of single batteries are too high or too low. Therefore, the voltage differencebetween the equalization source and the single battery cells is reduced through the auxiliary battery, the unified auxiliary power supply/lead-acid battery is used as the equalization source, the voltage difference of different power supplies is reduced, the electric energy conversion rate is improved, and the battery consistency is improved.
