The invention discloses an elevator dispatching system and method based on the intelligent Internet of things technology. An elevator comprises an information obtaining unit, a terminal and an information transmission unit. The terminal of the system comprises a dispatching scheme traversing module and an elevator dispatching mode selecting module, wherein the dispatching scheme traversing moduleis used for determining parameter indexes used for measuring efficiency according to information of the information obtaining unit, defining the parameter indexes as dispatching schemes, traversing all the dispatching schemes under the current condition and finding the dispatching scheme with the shortest average passenger staying time; and the elevator dispatching mode selecting module is used for calculating the average staying time and the average queuing number according to the found dispatching scheme and calculating the most efficient elevator dispatching mode through a traversing algorithm according to the average staying time and the average queuing number. The method corresponds to the system. Due to the fact that extra hardware is added, more information can be provided, the prediction capacity of the algorithm can be higher through the information, a better group control scheme can be provided, and therefore the efficiency of the elevator is improved.
