The invention discloses a steel transportation device. The steel transportation device comprises a bottom plate, wherein supporting columns are mounted at four corners of the bottom plate; rolling wheels are mounted at the bottoms of the supporting columns; a locking mechanism is mounted between inner sides of the supporting columns; a shell is mounted at the center of the top of the bottom plate;a control panel is mounted on a right side wall of the shell; a servo motor is mounted on the bottom plate below the control panel; a hoisting mechanism is mounted in an inner cavity of the shell; and a power output end of the servo motor is connected with the right end of the hoisting mechanism through a rotary shaft. According to the steel transportation device disclosed by the invention, the servo motor is started and a transmission rod is driven to rotate through the rotary shaft; the transmission rod rotates to drive a second gear to rotate; the second gear rotates to drive a first gearto rotate; the first gear rotates to drive a screw rod to rotate, so that a sleeve is hoisted in a sliding manner and the height of a main plate is convenient to adjust; and the labor intensity is effectively reduced and a condition that steel is manually lifted to a certain height and has certain dangers is avoided.
