The robot comprises two paper folding wheels with variable widths and a shell, wherein the two paper folding wheels are symmetrically installed on the two sides of the shell, each paper folding wheel is correspondingly connected with a group of telescopic devices for controlling the width change of the paper folding wheel, a driving device for driving the paper folding wheel and a transmission device, the driving devices and the transmission devices are arranged in the shell, and the paper foldingwheels comprise variable-width frameworks. The robot can keep the wheel diameter unchanged while the adjustable width is changed in a large range, and is simple and compact in overall structure and easy to control.
