The invention discloses a vehicle collision early warning method and device. The method comprises the steps obtaining identity information of a driver, and obtaining a driving mileage of the driver for driving a vehicle according to the identity information; inquiring a current driving experience level of the driver according to the driving mileage, and inquiring a corresponding current safe vehicle distance and current safe collision time according to the current driving experience level; collecting a video frame image in front of the vehicle in real time and identifying the video frame imageto determine a relative distance between the vehicle and a nearest obstacle vehicle in front of the vehicle, and judging whether the relative distance exceeds a current safe vehicle distance or not;if so, calculating a relative speed of the obstacle vehicle and the vehicle according to an image change of a feature area of the obstacle vehicle in the video frame image, and calculating the collision time according to the relative distance and the relative speed; and when the collision time is less than the current safety collision time, sending a collision early warning prompt.

    一种车辆碰撞预警方法及装置,该方法包括:获取驾驶员身份信息,并根据所述身份信息获取所述驾驶员驾驶本车的行驶里程;根据所述行驶里程查询所述驾驶员的当前驾驶经验等级,以及根据所述当前驾驶经验等级查询对应的当前安全车距和当前安全碰撞时间;实时采集本车前方的视频帧图像并进行识别,以确定所述本车与其前方最近的障碍车辆的相对距离,并判断所述相对距离是否超过所述当前安全车距;若是,根据所述视频帧图像中所述障碍车辆的特征区域的图像变化计算所述障碍车辆与本车的相对车速,并根据所述相对距离和所述相对车速计算碰撞时间;当所述碰撞时间小于所述当前安全碰撞时间时,发出碰撞预警提示。
