The invention provides a nickel-metal hydride battery system for a railway vehicle, which comprises two nickel-metal hydride battery subsystems, a charger and a load, each nickel-metal hydride batterysubsystem comprises a nickel-metal hydride storage battery pack, a charging and discharging device and controllers, and an input end of the charging and discharging device is connected with a positive electrode end of the nickel-metal hydride storage battery pack, wherein the controllers are in signal connection with the nickel-metal hydride storage battery pack and the charging and discharging device respectively, the two controllers communicate with each other through the wireless module, the wireless module automatically identifies transmission signals of the two controllers, the two nickel-metal hydride battery subsystems are connected in series, an input positive end and an input negative end of the load and an output positive end and an output negative end of the charger are correspondingly connected with a total positive end and a total negative end of the two nickel-metal hydride battery subsystems connected in series in parallel respectively, the charger is connected to a busof a railway vehicle in parallel, and the two nickel-metal hydride battery subsystems which are connected in series continuously supply power to the load. The floating charge protection device is simple in structure, capable of preventing floating charge from damaging the battery, capable of preventing overcharge and high in safety and reliability.

    本发明提供了一种轨道车辆用镍氢电池系统,包括两个镍氢电池子系统、充电器和负载,镍氢电池子系统包括镍氢蓄电池包组、充放电装置和控制器,充放电装置的输入端与镍氢蓄电池包组的正极端相连接,控制器分别与镍氢蓄电池包组、充放电装置信号连接,两个控制器之间通过无线模块进行通讯,无线模块自动识别两个控制器的传输信号;两个镍氢电池子系统相互串联在一起,负载的输入正、负端和充电器的输出正、负端分别与相串联在一起的两个镍氢电池子系统的总正端、总负端相对应并接在一起,充电器并接在轨道车辆母线上,相串联在一起的两个镍氢电池子系统持续给负载供电。本发明结构简单,可防止浮充损坏电池,防过充且安全可靠性较高。
