The invention discloses a hydraulic control system for an electric forklift. The hydraulic control system comprises an oil pump controller for collecting and controlling the rotating speed of an oil pump motor; the oil pump motor drives a hydraulic pump to guide hydraulic oil into a lifting oil cylinder, a horizontal movement oil cylinder, a lateral movement oil cylinder and an inclined oil cylinder through an electromagnetic multi-way valve; the electromagnetic multi-way valve is connected with a valve controller for controlling the opening degree of all valve elements of the electromagneticmulti-way valve; the hydraulic control system further comprises an intelligent instrument and an intelligent rocker; the intelligent instrument collects movement angle analog signals of the intelligent rocker and transmits the movement angle analog signals to the oil pump controller and the valve controller; and the oil pump controller, the valve controller and the intelligent instrument are connected through CAN buses. The intelligent rocker is adopted for control, the operation comfort degree is high, and the micro-motion performance is good; and combined operation of the hydraulic system CAN be achieved. In addition, the hydraulic system of the forklift is controlled through an electrical system, the operation response is fast, and the system following performance is good.
