The invention relates to a novel moon pool stabilization and wave absorbing wall which is arranged on the short side wall of a moon pool and comprises vertical stabilization and wave absorbing walls which are vertically arranged in front of the short side wall of the moon pool at certain intervals, and horizontal stabilization and wave absorbing walls which are horizontally arranged are arranged between the vertical stabilization and wave absorbing walls and the short side wall of the moon pool. A plurality of holes are respectively formed in the vertical stabilization and wave absorbing wallsand the horizontal stabilization and wave absorbing walls. Compared with the prior art, according to the design, moon pool resonance can be avoided more effectively, and a better wave absorbing and stabilizing effect is achieved; the two layers of vertically-arranged stabilization and wave absorbing walls can reduce slapping of transverse waves on a ship body to a greater extent, the three layersof horizontally-arranged stabilization and wave absorbing walls can slow down vertical movement of the moon pool, and finally the effects of stabilization and wave absorbing and ship body protectionare achieved.
