The invention relates to a vehicle queuing length detection method based on corner feature analysis, and belongs to vehicle flow detection of an intelligent traffic management system. According to themethod, an improved FAST algorithm is obtained by combining a traditional FAST corner detection method and a motion detection process, and an improved FAST corner feature analysis technology is used,so that not only a corner feature map representing the existence of a vehicle on a current traffic road can be extracted, but also the motion state of a corner position can be obtained. A result of the improved FAST algorithm is obtained, a vehicle queue is formed according to the static angular point characteristics in the single lane, PCA processing is performed to obtain a low-dimensional vector, and finally morphological processing is carried out on the low-dimensional vector to detect the vehicle queue length in the single lane. Results show that the average detection precision of the method is 98%, and the method can be applied to actual scenes.
本发明涉及一种基于角点特征分析的车辆排队长度检测方法,属于智能交通管理系统的车流量检测。本方法通过传统的FAST角点检测方法与运动检测的过程相结合得到改进后的FAST算法,使用改进后的FAST角点特征分析技术,不仅可以提取出当前交通道路上表征车辆存在的角点特征图,还可以获取角点位置的运动状态。得到改进FAST算法的结果,单一车道内处于静态的角点特征形成车辆排队,并进行PCA处理得到低维向量,最后对低维向量进行形态学处理来检测单一车道内的车辆排队长度。结果表明,本方法检测精度平均98%,满足应用于实际场景。
