The invention discloses a traffic jam detection method, system and device based on video polling and a medium. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring monitoring video data of first road traffic; extracting traffic parameter characteristics according to the monitoring video data; determining congestion level information of the first road traffic according to the traffic parameter characteristics; and acquiring monitoring video data of the next road traffic, and starting to execute a step of extracting traffic parameter characteristics according to the monitoring video data until congestion level information of all road traffic to be polled in turns is acquired. The method can achieve the automatic detection of the congestion of a plurality of roads, reduces the management costand labor cost, improves the accuracy of traffic congestion detection, and can be widely used in the technical field of intelligent transportation.

    本发明公开了基于视频轮巡的交通拥堵检测方法、系统、装置及介质,方法包括:获取第一道路交通的监控视频数据;根据所述监控视频数据提取交通参数特征;根据所述交通参数特征,确定所述第一道路交通的拥堵级别信息;获取下一道路交通的监控视频数据,并开始执行根据所述监控视频数据提取交通参数特征的步骤,直至获取所有待轮巡道路交通的拥堵级别信息。本发明可实现对多条道路拥堵的自动检测,不仅降低了管理成本和人工成本,还提升了交通拥堵检测的准确性,本发明可以广泛应用于智能交通技术领域。
