The invention provides a supporting leg with good stability for a portal crane. The supporting leg with good stability for the portal crane comprises a cross beam and supporting leg structures fixed to the two sides of the bottom end of the cross beam, wherein each supporting leg structure comprises two n-shaped frames, cross frames at the top ends of the corresponding two n-shaped frames are crossed and fixedly connected, the cross frames at the top ends of the corresponding two n-shaped frames are fixedly connected with the bottom end of the cross beam, the bottom ends of side frames of thecorresponding two n-shaped frames are jointly and fixedly connected with a base, and the two side frames of each n-shaped frame are conically shrunk from the bottom end to the corresponding transverseframe at the top end. According to the supporting leg, each supporting leg structure is designed into the corresponding two n-shaped frames, and the corresponding two n-shaped frames are arranged inthe crossed mode, so that the overall stability performance is improved, and weight reduction is facilitated on the basis that the structural strength is enhanced.
