The invention discloses a shock absorption structure of a highway pavement. The beneficial effects are that through an arranged vibration absorption layer, vibration energy generated when a vehicle runs on the pavement can be effectively absorbed, the vehicle is subjected to minimum vibration, vehicle running safety is guaranteed, accidentsare avoided, through an arranged HY-490 ultrasonic detector, vehicles passing through the pavement are counted, the number of vehicles running on the pavement can be accurately counted, and importantreference data are provided for calculation of a traffic capacity of the pavement in different time periods.
