The invention relates to the technical field of electric locomotive control, in particular to a tunnel electric locomotive control system which comprises a programmable logic controller (PLC), a frequency converter (VFD) and a man-machine operation interface (HMI), and information transmission is achieved among the PLC, the frequency converter (VFD) and the man-machine operation interface (HMI) through Ethernet communication. A programmable logic controller (PLC) communicates functions and safety interlocking protection of the electric locomotive with a frequency converter (VFD) and a human-machine operation interface (HMI) through a pre-designed and written program, so that the purposes of controlling the motor and monitoring various data of the motor are achieved. According to the invention, the stability of the electric locomotive control system can be greatly improved, the programmable logic controller can be used for accurately positioning faults, a large amount of time can be saved, the tunnel construction process is effectively improved, and the technology of developers is also correspondingly improved.
