The invention discloses a notch structure for improving welding fatigue strength and a polishing method of a notch. The notch structure comprises a first groove and a second groove which are polished, the first groove is formed in an inner edge of a first base material and extends into a weld joint at the joint of the first base material and a second base material, the second groove is formed in the weld toe position of the weld joint and is in smooth butt joint with the first groove to form the concave notch. According to the notch structure for improving the welding fatigue strength and the polishing method of the notch, the concave notch is polished at the welding joint of the two base materials, so that the geometrical shape of the welding joint is changed, the peak stress of a dangerous point is reduced, then the fatigue strength of a component is effectively improved or the fatigue life of the component is prolonged, and a light weight effect is achieved.

    本发明公开了一种改善焊接疲劳强度的凹口结构及其打磨方法,所述凹口结构包括打磨出的第一凹槽和第二凹槽,所述第一凹槽设置在第一母材的内边缘并延伸入第一母材与第二母材连接处的焊缝内,所述第二凹槽设置在焊缝的焊趾位置并与第一凹槽圆滑对接从而形成一个凹形缺口。本发明通过在两个母材的焊接接头处打磨出一个凹形缺口,来改变焊接接头的几何形状,将危险点的峰值应力降下来,进而有效地提高构件的疲劳强度或延长其疲劳寿命,并起到轻量化的作用。
