The collision detection method comprises the following steps: acquiring a driving environment and a driving route of a vehicle, wherein the driving environment includes position information of each obstacle; determining an OBB bounding box of each obstacle and an OBB bounding box of the vehicle respectively; simulating driving of the vehicle according to the driving route; on the basis that the OBB bounding box of the obstacle and the OBB bounding box of the vehicle have a separation surface, determining that the vehicle does not collide with the obstacle; and enabling the OBB bounding box of the vehicle and the OBB bounding box of the obstacle to be located on the two sides of the separation surface.
