The invention belongs to the technical field of building equipment, and particularly relates to a construction device for a prefabricated building and a construction method thereof. The construction device comprises a tower crane body, a winch and winding boxes, wherein a fixed box is fixedly connected to the surface of the tower crane main body; the winch is fixedly connected to the interior of the fixed box; the surface of the winch is wound with mooring ropes; the winding boxes are fixedly connected to the positions of the mooring ropes on the inner side face of the fixed box; winding discs which are uniformly arranged are arranged in the winding boxes; anti-skid ropes are wound in the winding discs; and the surfaces of the mooring ropes are wound with the anti-skid ropes. According to the construction device and method, anti-skid treatment on the surfaces of the mooring ropes are effectively achieved, and the friction coefficient between the mooring ropes is increased; and meanwhile, the mooring ropes wound with the anti-skid ropes are limited, so that the load of the winch is reduced, multiple protection effects can be achieved, and the risk of limiting failure and falling accidents of building prefabrication objects can be effectively reduced during transfer of the building prefabrication objects.
