The embodiment of the invention provides a vehicle body and a tramcar. The vehicle body comprises a cab, a vehicle roof and a drainage structure. The car roof comprises a car roof body and an end beam extending in the transverse direction, the front side wall of the end beam abuts against the cab, the rear side wall of the end beam abuts against the front end face of the car roof body, at least one end of the end beam is provided with a drainage channel, the drainage channel extends from the front side wall to the rear side wall, and a water inlet, in the rear side wall, of the drainage channel abuts against the top face of the car roof body, therefore, accumulated water on the top surface flows into the water inlet. One end of the drainage structure is communicated with the drainage channel, and the other end of the adapter extends into the cab and extends downwards to penetrate through the floor of the cab to be communicated with the outside. By the adoption of the scheme, accumulated water on the side, close to the cab, of the roof can be drained out of the vehicle body in time.
