The invention provides a duct piece hoisting mechanism and a method for hoisting a duct piece. The method comprises the following steps that every time tunneling equipment advances a ring, a duct piece to be installed is installed firstly, a new tunnel is formed, and circumferential connecting bolts on the inner side of the duct piece to be installed are kept to be located at the top of the new tunnel; and then a pulley seat at the tail end is detached and installed at the top of the new tunnel, and a hanging beam is pushed forwards in this way. The problem that the duct piece cannot be hoisted by a small-caliber shield is solved; compared with research and development of an electric hoist with the same hoisting capacity and smaller overall size, the method is economical and practical, and the cost is very low; and moreover, according to the method, a longer transportation distance can be provided by changing the length of the hanging beam or increasing the number of the pulley seat, and the flexibility is very high.
