The invention relates to a damping structure of an electric steering shaft, which comprises a center column rotatably connected with one end of a transverse pull rod and a sliding sleeve vertically connected with the center column in a sliding mode; the sliding sleeve is rotatably connected with a hub bracket; the rotating axis of the center column and the rotating axis of the transverse pull rod are parallel to the rotating axis of the sliding sleeve and the rotating axis of the hub bracket; and the two rotating axes are parallel to the sliding track of the sliding sleeve. The damping structure of the electric steering shaft provided by the invention has the effects of protecting transmission structures such as racks, achieving the damping effect and prolonging the service life of the electric steering shaft.
